East Park is a premier neighborhood in the heart of the southeast Orlando area in Lake Nona designed to bring neighbors together with its lakes, eight parks, picnic areas, pavilions, nature trails, tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. East Park offers residents convenient access to major highways and shopping with entrances off of Narcoossee Rd and Moss Park Rd. East Park contains over 1000 home sites featuring contemporary style single family homes and townhomes intertwined with walking trails, beach volleyball courts, play grounds, picnic areas and beautiful water views. The East Park Development consists of East Park Neighborhoods 5, 6 & 7, Lakes at East Park, and the Villas of East Park which were built by DR Horton, Engle Homes, and Mercedes Homes.
Since East Park is divided into multiple neighborhoods with independent homeowner’s associations, each HOA is responsible for the maintenance of its common areas (including Holiday Park) and managing contracts and improvements to the community. In addition, the East Park area falls into the East Park Community Development District, or CDD. The CDD is responsible for maintenance of other areas of the community not maintained by the HOA, including the main East Park entrance, the roads inside the community (except for Savannah Park Drive), the city park around the lake, the tennis courts, and restroom facilities. Funds for the CDD are included in the annual Orange County property tax assessment.
